Well your excellence, we pretty much expect it from you.
Ignorant Turk.
Makes pretty good coffee though.

Plus his Turkish delight is, well, delightful.
Hey Tristan, I have something somewhat unpleasant to confess: I just used to think of you as Tristan or Tsar Tristan or whatever. Then my son caught a cold this week. We ran out of cold medicine, so I made a trip to the chemist. Now I can only think of you as Dristan. Sorry. Maybe I’ll have to come up with Bored of the Rings names for the lot of you.
Adjudication is out and the webpage is updated. See GM notes please.
Sheesh, you should have NMR’ed both of those English orders.
Anyone else out there see the French-English juggernaut in play?
Also, Omni, in your retreat options you should mention the Off the Board (OTB) option for retreats (yeah, I know it was in a recent note). But it is a Newbie game.
Shib… uh… well. Gee.
I suppose it could be worse.
Shall we have a candlelight vigil to try to disuade the English from crushing the Germans?
Hey, my hats off to them if they can pull it off. JayLa has played a brilliant France thus far, and whilst England has been a bit obscure to me (and hasn’t quite gotten into the spirit of posting here), Hugh Jass is certainly in a good position as well. These things usually end in a stab by one of the other. The big question is just who is the least trustworthy one. And who first gets into a position to stab. My money’s on the English (to stab first), although I could be wrong.
Hi guys,
Yeah, I know I haven’t been posting. I haven’t been able to think of anything relevant, witty, or inflammatory to say, to be honest.
And to be honest, I can’t think of anything to say right now either.
And as for stabbing, that is so 1901.
Now leave me alone while I eat my mashed peas.
you mean the juggernaut i told you about back in spring '03?
what did you do to me that fall? i forget… :dubious:
git.
Yeah, I’ll explain my actions some day. But my publisher said it’s best not to say too much right now, as it my queer the book deal.
cool - i’ve already lined up my “other side of the story” interviews with all the big papers.
Maybe we can get a deal with 60 Minutes (and the English equivalent, whatever that might be), a la Clinton and Dole. It might be insipid, but as long as we get paid…
The English equivalent is probably “Newsnight”
but i was thinking more along the lines of Jerry Springer Then Soup could be the “unexpected surprise guest”
Jerry Springer used to be the mayor of the city where I live. He was also a television anchor (news presenter). He’s now thinking of running for Congress in our state. This would explain a lot about me had I actually been raised here, but locally I am considered a bit of an alien, just as much as Turks in England would be.
Ahem, I still have not seen retreats posted or mailed from the Fall. I think we need those to submit Builds (:D) or Disbands (:().
What’s the status, Gladys?
That was a wily move, Il Supe. Clearly Phase II of my Master Plan for World Domination is not going to be a walk in the park.
Hey garius, I’ve always wondered, is “git” pronounced with a hard g like in your name or a soft g like “jit” ?
You mean his name isn’t pronounced jerry-us?
Shibbs, I’m still waiting on one retreat, I’ve emailed him and once its in you’ll all get a message demanding those builds poste haste.
All these anti-France threads on the boards these days make me a little paranoid. I feel like I should go in there an apologize or something.
Or you could just surrender.
