Remember that Thursday night football games start this week. I can’t remember if you need to get your survival pick in by the start of the Thursday game, but do it just to be safe. And don’t forget to pick the Thursday game in pick 'em.
Last week we had our last perfect get a strike with New England, leaving 6 players with one strike. He would still win if everyone were to go out in one week due to a tiebreaker, but for the most part it’s anyone’s game.
I noticed I’ve barely paid attention to the salary cap this year. I wish you had to rebuild a roster every week, because as it is you tend to get stuck with one player at too good a value to ever change that position. If I was paying more attention, I’d have gotten on the ground level with Cam Newton for one thing. The league is remarkably tight in terms of scoring though.
Well that’s that. 5 players picked Philly and are out in survival. “Way too much time on my hands” (still not sure who that is) picked Green Bay, but it doesn’t matter if they win - he has any tiebreakers.
I will most likely reset the game this week with only 1 strike this time so we can play out the rest of the season because there’s not really any reason not to - so if you’ve been knocked out of the survival, make another pick this week.
I’m having a horrible, horrible Confidence week.
A whopping 26 points for me so far – if I get the final two games, I’ll finish with 46.
To this point I’m 3-of-14 – far and away my worst week ever in picking games.

It’s funny how things change year to year. The last two years, I don’t think we had a winner until the last week; this year, it’s done by Week 10. I’m also looking forward to the 2nd chance reset.

I reset the survival league and set it to one strike and you’re out for the rest of the year, so make sure you make a new pick this week.
So that will be next week for me then 
I’ll probably be eliminated before Friday, the way I’ve been picking teams this year. And that’s even if I don’t pick the Jets game!

Damn it, forgot about the Saturday game until just now, and missed the “5 minutes before kickoff rule” by literally seconds.
So I picked Indy in survival this week. Ballsy, right? I’m a genius.
… Except I’m pretty sure I didn’t. Not sure how I ended up with Indy as my team. Some sort of glitch.
So how do things work now that we’re in the playoffs? I’ve been in first place the whole season, with a brief hiccup late in the spread league. Do I have to win in playoff weeks?
I think we just keep playing through the playoffs and it becomes part of our normal score, but I will post listing regular season results later. But everyone pay attention - in the pick 'em and survival leagues you have playoff picks to make.
