New Pornographers: “Electric Version” (great male and female vocals in this amazingly well-produced Canadian supergroup, featuring the lovely and talented Neko Case)

Seabiscuit. (It was okay, but the close-ups of the up-and-down arms on the horse-riding (the obvious stationary-shots-filled-in-with-blue-screen-scenery moments) was pretty goofy. Movie could have been shortened without losing the story, too).
