SDMB Poetry Sweatshop - April 2010 edition, Logistics Thread.

I manage to get the auto-reply.

Just submitted mine. Was lacking in inspiration this time, I guess.

Mine’s in, and I used every minute of my hour - whew!

I just got in from the closing night party, to discover fresh poems from Crowbar of Irony +3, Rodgers01, Elendil’s Heir and Appalling Gael. Great work, everyone!

I’m in transit tomorrow, but I’ll try to check e-mail en route. Keep 'em coming!

Well, this month, I took a gamble. It’s not what I usually write, but who knows?

I actually feel physically exhausted after writing that poem.

In Winnipeg, Serenata67 - I just landed and found your poems in my inbox. My luggage is still in Vancouver, but I had two new poems to read - I reckon that’s a fair swap.

A blatant attempt to see if I can catch any Monday poets before we close this one in just over four hours… I have nine poems so far.

I’m going to have about 20 minutes to spare. What the heck, why not try it? It’s no different from writing 50,000 words of novel in 30 days.

My apologies in advance…

…says the two-time SDMB Poet Laureate, going for three.

Hey, as I tell folks at work…sometimes there is a rabbit in that hat!

We are down to the last hour - the Anthology thread may be found here, and I will start adding poems to it as soon as I’ve put the kids to bed.
