Eh, let’s keep it to a weekend. I’m kinda anxious to read the other poems… and size up the competition. If people aren’t going to do it between Friday and Sunday, they aren’t going to do it, in my opinion.
Listen, strange women lying in ponds making suggestions is no basis for a system of thread management. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
I’m only partly saying this because I sent my regrets to a dinner party so I could be at my computer to compile the anthology and build the poll…
I’d consider an even longer ‘writing’ period for a future one (and I’m really hoping to be able to keep these a monthly deal.), but for now, I’d really rather not change horses mid-stream and alter the finish time.
