SDMB T-Shirt Exchange

Mailed a t-shirt to MA today.

My recipient will have to wait a few days. I need to get home and wash my t-shirt before I send it off. Hopefully I’ll be able to send it by Monday.

I’ve finally gotten over the selection hurdle, whew! My package to Oregon will be flying out in the next few days.

A bunch went out Monday – has anyone gotten one yet?

I sent mine out to NY on Monday, hope you enjoy, Booker57!!

I think mine arrived yesterday but I was not home to get it. I left instructions for it to be left at the office today.

Meanwhile, my outgoing parcel is ready, one foot to my right, and waiting for a chance to get to the PO down the block.

I just dropped it off at the PO. 3:15 EDT.

I got mine last night! Thank you so much Susie Derkins, I love it  Particularly since the last time I was near such a theme park, I was too young to buy t-shirts, let alone ones that would fit me now

I have to ask though - do you have kitties? Our babies were absolutely fascinated by my shirt - they kept sniffing it all night.

Mine has been sent out today to my lucky recipient (so not telling who) with a minor assist from my fiance (and the man to blame for my presence here) NanookOfTheNorthShore. Well, actually, he donated the shirt - he sort of insisted actually.

Whoopee! Do I have a great T-shirt…of course, I was lucky enough to be the annointed one for Twickster’s exchange, (Thanks, Twickster!!!)

While I can’t describe the shirt for fear of possibly revealing some things about Twickster, let me simply say that the art is impeccable, and the man/woman/beer message shows that Twickster really knows the fellows…hmmm, that doesn’t sound quite the way I meant it…I mean that she understands men…uh…she is appreciative of the manly point of view…uh…

Seriously, I do really like my “new” shirt, and yes, it can be worn in public (except to church picnics).

So, Twickster…Thanks for such a great shirt, and such a fun exchange!

OMG!

I haven’t even picked one out yet! :smack:

I’ll get right on it! (Really!)

Damn, you’re making this sound a heck of a lot worse than it is – I didn’t give the full quote before because I hadn’t looked for the shirt yet and couldn’t remember what it was. Go ahead and tell them what it was – I don’t think anyone’s mental image of me will be seriously damaged by finding out that I am the kind of person who doesn’t want to wear a T-shirt with that on the back.

Oh, I am so glad that you like it! And you are, of course, very welcome.

No, but my washer and dryer are in the kitchen and the shirt sat in the laundry area a couple of days after I washed it…maybe it still smelled like dinner?

mine went out today, and i got mine today! no note, so thanks to the coolest person in Tucson!

I think people should post pics of themselves wearing their new acquisitions.

Wheee! Got mine today along with a nice Tuscon postcard from **Exastris. **

THANK YOU!

Just received mine from Rodd Hill. Along with the shirt came a neat book entitled “A History of the Victoria-Esquimalt Coast Artillery Defences 1878-1956.” Too cool! Thank you!
Do I look like a Canadian wearing this shirt?

I know! I know! giggles delightedly

I second that! I was going to post last week that we put up a pic of us wearing it before we sent it, then put up the ‘after’ picture as well. Bit late for that, eh?

Could someone set up a site where we could all post?

LOL Maybe it was dinner - or maybe you just use different fabric softener or detergent so I didn’t smell quite like I usually do

They’re young and easily spazzed out  They often manage to spaz themselves out with no actual outside interference.

In either case I’m a fan of the shirt
