So sorry I couldn’t make it, as it turned out, I had to entertain thousands of 12 year old girls for my daughter’s birthday party. Okay, maybe not thousands, but that’s what it sounded like.

Hey guys, I hope the party went well. I’m sorry I dropped off the face of the earth for a while and didn’t make it even though I had planned on going. I was really looking forward to seeing everyone but I had some things going on in my social life and let’s just say that I had to take out the trash :). I am glad that it seems like there’s a dopefest at least twice a year so I hope to catch the next one with you all.

I’m so, so sorry to have missed it. As it happens, I’m now fighting a nasty head cold and wouldn’t have been much fun even if I’d been able to make it.
