I just posted a thread in MPSIMS about an AOL Instakiss password scam, and in preparation, I searched the board for the word “Instakiss” to see if it had come up in the last 3 months. That search only yielded one thread, You have a secret crush! which, while addressing a similar subject, does not contain the actual search term. Is our vB search engine really sophisticated enough to be compiling some sort of database of related terms? Sort of a fuzzy logic thing, perhaps?
Only if you consider dropping a hyphen sophistacated, Ringo.
From that thread:
Apparently, at least in this instance, the search engine regarded the hypenated word as one whole one, matching your search requirement, Ringo. And as donkeyoatey just said.
I felt your icy breath on my neck and skipped preview, Ice Wolf. It doesn’t show does it?:o
And IE’s Edit > Find (on this page)… does not. And I missed it on a scan of the thread. Oh well.
Another small gathering of the ATMB subculture.
Woo. Cool. I kinda like that. We could get our own traditional costumes, work on some subcultural music, legends and stuff – and then wait for the good folk from National Geographic t’ come take out picture and make us famous. Well, famous for a month, any way.
“ATMB subculture.” Yeah, quite nifty, that.
We could come up with coding rituals and hold FAQ festivals.
Our wise ones could examine the droppings of the Sacred Hamster, and predict when will be the next rise of the “Why is this board sooo sloowww???” thread, in all of it’s mischievous, playful forms.
You people are weird.
We try!
It’s nice to know our efforts are appreciated, though!
And you aren’t , you large-phallused kilt wearer?
I’d say, in some subcultures, that would be enough to make him a god.
Hail. I come from MPSIMS. I come in peace. I wish to join your people. I have pie. Fresh missionaries. Yum.
