I haven’t listened to him in a long time, but I remember Andreas Vollenweider as being very soothing. Tangerine Dream too.

I remember you mentioning her at Dopefest in December, and IIRC, I said there was a short-lived thread about her. She had piqued my curiosity about jazz after seeing her on Sessions at West 54th. I have 3 or 4 of her CD’s now.

You could also try Moon Safari, by Air. It’s vaguely retro-ish '70s sounding dance music, upbeat without being frantic, very much ‘chill-out’ material.
I’ve only got one…When I Look In Your Eyes. But I love it. Listening to it now. Helps me clear my head before I go on stage.
