I see the Search results are now coming formatted 50 to the page instead of 20.
I think that’s a good idea, making it easier to find the thread you want with fewer “page forwards”.
Were there any other changes at the same time? (E.g., Maybe the number of threads on a forum list? I haven’t kept track of what that number was.)

As someone who often looks up old stuff with search, this makes me most happy. Next, I’ll hear that you’ve enable a whole bunch of new search features. Right? Please, oh gods of vBulletin.
We’re always looking for ways to improve what we offer you here at the Straight Dope and the techs are constantly fine tuning the system.
The search function is one of our bigger problem children and as we strive to offer you more it will continue to be sometimes useful and sometimes annoying.
Not sure what to tell you except to hang on and stay tuned.
