What is meant by this phrase “solid pack” on cans of pumpkin pie mix? It seems to indicate the consistency, but we don’t use the same phrase on ingredients of similar consistency like tomato paste. I noticed it appears on several different manufacturer’s product including the store brand, indicating that there is agreement among the vendors that additional clarification is needed on the label.
I don’t see the likelihood of confusion between pumpkin pie filling and other types of canned pumpkin products such as we might encounter with apples (sauce, chunks, rings) because such variety of canned pumpkin products doesn’t exist.
