August 27 shall henceforth be known as VK Day, the day our team (Cow Tippers) declared victory in the quiz at Kate’s Pub. We ended up with 108 points, while two other teams tied for second with 100 each.
108? Wow, that’s a lot of questions. Were you there until midnight?
Most questions were worth 2 points. There were 40 traditional Q&A questions, 12 “identify the show that has this character” questions on a separate sheet of paper, and a visual round with 10 people. 132 possible points, since one of the 40 Q&A questions was worth a possible 10 points. (We got 0!)
So we were done about 10:15, and the quiz started at 8:30.
So, can we has trivia tonight? I’m assuming the Old Pequliar will be the place.
