Seattle Pub Trivia '08: With a Vengeance

My boss has dragooned me into helping at an event on Mercer Island. It goes until 7:30, and I probably have to help clean up afterward, so if I make it to trivia I’ll be late.

At least it’s a wine & cheese event…

I’m in like Huckleberry Finn.

I’m in like Rin Tin Tin.

I should be there early enough to snag a big table. If the recent happy trend continues, we’ll want one.

Finals. Maybe next week.

Maybe.
Right now, I’m thinking “yes,” but…

Break a leg!

Whose?

Actually, I feel pretty good about the Hebrew and history finals, which I’ve already taken. Statistics, on the other hand…is tomorrow morning at 8:30. And I don’t feel quite ready.

I’m going to be in a training class all day, so I’ll kick this off: I should be there tonight, barring ice/freezing rain/impassable snowdrifts.

I can’t make it this week or next, but hope to squeeze in one more visit before the year changes. And a very happy one to you all.

I’m a probable for tonight. There may be bureaucratic nonsense and unnecessary ego stroking that might need to take place instead, though.

I’ll be there, assuming the weather doesn’t prevent me and assuming I get a good start on project wedding cake.

I’m probably out.

I’ll be there. The pub is within flurry-walking distance of home, even if the buses stop running.

The pre-announced round topic for tonight is, if I recall correctly, Ancient History. Merry, you could get us extra geek points by answering everything in Hebrew or something. Assuming you didn’t die of Statistics last week.

I’m planning to be there. And I’ll be bringing my Mexican tan.

Fine, but you still can’t have the presidential guest house.

I did not die of statistics but I do have a slight case of not wanting to get out from under the down comforter.

It’s quite possible I’ll be there. BF might be too.

Downgrade me to a “probably not.” I haven’t felt all that well all day and I don’t want to push myself.

And a time when I might have been useful too. :smack:

Ah, Trivia, how we’ve missed you! Who’s ready to return to that joyful field of intellectual battle?

I am, for one.

Sorry, can’t. See you next week/year.

I should be there, and if I am, I will bring goodies to share.

I’ll be there, but probably late.
