I don’t know. I thought she gave a non-answer and his at least pertained to the race. I wish she would’ve given that one a bit more thought.
Hillary took the easier, better answer. Trump did the best he could. On that last question, that is. No one is going to care about how either one of them answered that question 5 minutes from now.
I thought it was a great answer for him to give because it made him look like less of an asshole. It seemed like genuine respect, and I didn’t think he was capable of that.
As I said, Mrs. Clinton gave him the opening and example to compliment her on her family. He couldn’t do it tho so he complimented her on being a fighter who will never give up.

What he wants here is to signal to his faction that the breakaway from other GOP leaders is not because of a problem *he *has but because of a problem *they *have. And his faction will want to believe.

His faction is not enough to come close to even sniffing a win, he needed to convince regular republicans and some independents at least and he did absolutely nothing to get them.
Not the first time Trump has made me throw up.
It is something that sounds and feels like it would come from him, it meshes with his temperament and his history in the campaign.

The problem is campaign-wise, Trump winning the debate is like patching up a cut femoral artery with a band-aid.
