The annual Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta is underway and a Mass Ascension is taking place right now. I posted this in the General Aviation thread but I thought more people would see it if I started a new thread.

The show’s pretty much over for today. There will be another mass ascension tomorrow morning (and every morning through Sunday), weather permitting.
I’m volunteering there and so get to watch it up close.
I volunteered to be on a chase crew several years ago. Had a lot of fun, but didn’t get a free balloon ride.
