Seen any good internet April Fool's pranks today?

A lot of the political blogs are running Dick and/or Lynn Cheney jokes today.

And it’s not the internet, but “All Things Considered” on NPR usually has a good joke story on April Fools Day.

I don’t see anything different.

Here’s a fun one for all you Trek fans out there.

Fark.com got hacked.

Thanks guys! It’s good to see that some sites are keeping the sacred tradition alive.

Not sure that it’s “great” but throwing one on the pile anyway.

Yeah, TORn sucked me in (see my post in this forum).

HA ha!

This one on GameSpot.com isn’t too bad; the videos were a nice touch (even though you do still have to sit through ads).

The other gags on the site are pretty obvious and predictable.

April fool!

For the Magic players among us, the editor of Starcitygames.com, William “The Ferrett” Steinmetz, posted his resignation yesterday. He named Joe “Mouth” Kambourakis as his replacement. He had me going until that. Bastard.

Two of my friends got taken in by the OneRing article. They were none too happy with the whole matter today, even though they were laughing about it.

All of the major Harry Potter sites were out in full force. The Leaky Cauldron posted a supposed list of 93 words “pertaining to the 5th book”. (They had me until the “Harry might change his clothes again”.) A site for one of the actors was replaced with a site selling sewing supplies, and a fic site had a hostile takeover of sorts. Very silly.

The only one I saw (which I thought was funny) was a fake news item at gay.com stating that eBay had halted two auctions by people claiming to be selling the ribs Cher had removed a couple decades ago.

Did I see any today? No.
