This one just cracks me up.
As usual, Think Geek has added their annual 4/1 product line.
Not as good this year as it has been in years past, though…
www.homestarrunner.com has gone all [work friendly] porn-site for the day…
You probably need to be a frequent visitor to appreciate it though.
For all the gaming geeks out there.
I honestly don’t know whether or not they’re kidding, by the way. They’ve been talking about releasing this book for months. Then again, they’ve been talking about the release date of April 1st for months…
Probably not up there with the best, but I adopted a “Phenomenal Women of the Web” glurge-style theme for my mesage board today.
And Google’s always good for a gag.
Oh, that Executive Pong at ThinkGeek? I can actually see people clamoring for that.
The people at Star Trek have a pretty good sense of humor.
APOD (Astronomy Picture Of the Day) has a pretty good one.
I hope it’s an April Fools joke-another message board that I frequent has a text page showing that the site has been shut down owing to legal issues and may be restarted after it’s all sorted out. Given our own recent stroll down that path, I hope this is just a goof.
Today’s Word for the Wise might be more aptly titled “Word for the Fool”.
NationStates had an Orwellian announcement explaining that the site’s encouragement of political discussion had caused the World Government to shut down the role-playing game, but the joke page has already been removed.
“Domai dot com” (not safe for work, hence no direct link) is wringing its hands over European Union censorship which threatens to restrict the right to enjoy the site’s “Babe of the Day” feature to paying customers only.
I like the one on Spamusement.
Maddox has outdone himself this time. Tomorrow should be amusing.
It wasn’t Mugglenet (the Harry Potter fansite) was it? I surfed over there to look up something for a thread in Cafe Society, and I saw a white screen with large red text saying something like this

I started to compose a nasty Pit thread, and then I went back to Mugglenet to copy the exact wording of the announcement, and found that the site loaded normally and confessed that the other screen was an April Fool’s Day joke.
I set up a framset so that my own, middlingly popular local music message board redirected for ten seconds to the home page of a rival, crappy site. Think Something Awful vs. Fark, where SA is me and Fark is some zit-faced teenager’s sit talking geocities page.
A few of my users choked on their coffee. Mission accomplished.
Valve did a pretty funny joke when I openned up Steam earlier - they had a new update available, and the update news was hilarious:
It’s gone now, but Politics NJ had a good hoax news article (Bill Bradley running for Governor).
