Well, there’s the fact that materialism has evidence for it, and works as a method of understanding the world; while revelation has no evidence for it being effective and doesn’t work to understand the world. In other words, they are opposites. There’s nothing “dogmatic” about believing what all the evidence shows to be true. Since there’s never been any evidence for anything BUT materialism it would be hard to tell a “dogmatic” materialist from a non-dogmatic one, since the “dogmatic” ones never have to deal with anything that contradicts their beliefs.
I guess that means I have more in common with Jesus than Pat Robertson…lol.
