Hard to call the movie a lie when the information is collaborated in a book that Clinton didn’t publicly object to. He has admitted in interviews that he vetoed airstrikes. He’s given his reasons for doing so and nobody is blaming him on a level that matches his attempt at censorship. He’s just drawing attention to the fact and making it worse.
So far, the FBI takes a bg hit in the movie. The only person with any complaint is Albright. She’s been accused of alerting Pakistan about the missile attacks.
Of course, one should mention that F 9/11 made a profit. This particular excercise in propaganda was deliberately designed otherwise. And, yes, I do believe there are any number of Pubbies who would have invested in F 9/11 if they thought they would make a buck.

I think your question is flawed. It’s not who funded it. Disney funded both works. It’s who backed out of commercial air time. That would be everybody.
The real question is do you cave to moveon.ogre or do you run the show and prove them wrong. So far, I don’t see what the fuss is about. I don’t see Clinton taking a hit on this except for the self-inflicted black-eye he’s created by protesting it. The movie is about the event, not the individual.
