Yeah, if you strip out the term “bloodthirsty” and replace it with the milquetoast “problematic”, I agree it wouldn’t be even a little bit controversial.
I guarantee you that if you said anything about “the reason why Palestine has gotten so bloodthirsty” you would immediately be branded Islamophobic.
