I remember reading 1984 when I wasn’t much older than Brad. My father gave it to me, my mother who hadn’t actually read it but knew about it through my Da had concerns about the level of nastiness in it.
My Da was right, I was ready and so it seems was Brad. He’s all about youthful exaggeration but that’s cool, he is only 14.
