Actually, I think of Bush as David Prowse and Cheney as James Earl Jones. They both played Darth Vader, but James Earl Jones is the real voice of the character.
I guess I was just overcome by how underwhelming the movies were compared to my distant memories of being totally awed by the first movies. I was sitting there like a heroin addict on methadone waiting for the same sort of rush I got the first time I injected myself with heroin only to feel the dull sensation that is just barely enough to keep me from going into violent withdrawal but not particularly satisfying (except for that very last scene when Darth Vader starts breathing).
