How about some personal responsibility for a change? Society didn’t create this guy. That’s a cop-out. Maybe he had a horrific upbringing. At some point, you have to become accountable for your actions.
I don’t see how completely isolating him from human contact is any more merciful than executing him.
I say put him in with the general population, and allow nature to run it’s course. Maybe he’ll adjust reasonably well to prison life, and maybe he’ll be cornholed to death.
Having grown up in a city with seven prisons, and knowing many people who work with inmates, you should know that the prison code against child molesters usually means CHILDREN, e.g. little kids under 12-13. Sex with 14- and 15- year old girls wouldn’t bat a convict’s eye.

Hey brainiac, I am not trying to play armchair psychologist with Emmanuel but you do realize that schizophrenia (which I am guessing in this case) and other psychosis are actual medical conditions. In most cases, people are not able to function without ongoing medical treatment. Once they reach a certain untreated level of severity they are unable to take personal responsibility for their actions.
Instead of getting these people treatment AND humane punishment, let’s just torture them to death with anal rape or stick them in front of a firing squad.
