How many of you saw The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe and thought Cate Blanchett played the White Witch? I was pretty sure Blanchett played the woman who ran the secret island society in The Beach as well, until I realized it was another actress who must clearly be a long-lost sister. The fact that both of those roles were played by Tilda Swinton (a great British actress with virtually identical facial features and a very similar voice) seemed to slip by me. I’ve known about the both of them for awhile, and I still mistake her for Cate Blanchett. They’re so similar that it’s hard to tell them apart at first glance. Swinton has a tendency to play much darker, androgynous and icy characters though, as this funny article points out.

I am pleased to see we won’t have to have a Doper cat-fight over him - they both look very similar, but IMO there’s no contest - Skeet’s the pick of the two. Rawr! :smiley:

I first saw him on a ‘supernatural’-themed television series a few years back. The show, Miracles, was actually pretty good (even without taking Skeet-hotness into account) and it’s a shame it got cancelled.
