Separated at Birth-- Celebrities with an odd resemblance

It isn’t really a mistake that I make, but I guess I can see mixing up this with this.

It’s a measure of how well the presidential campaign of Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kans.) is going that no one here has compared him with French Stewart.

Why would they want to insult French Stewart?

No, you’re not the only one. I’ve noticed it, especially since they’ve both gone through puberty. However, I think some of it’s in the way they’re photographed–the Harry Potter movie posters recall the LOTR posters, or vice versa.

A couple of tough guys: John Saxon and Michael Ironside.

Michael Biehn and Timothy Olyphant – although not all the photos make a good case for the resemblance.

Jarvis Cocker (Pulp’s frontman) and quirky character actor James Urbaniak.

Benny Hill and Conan O’Brien’s former sidekick, Andy Richter. That resemblance is going to really tighten up as Andy gets older and loses more of his hair, BTW.

And finally, two kinds of hucksters: the Rev. Billy Graham and the Ronco guy, Ron Popeil!

Wow, none of my top 3 have been mentioned.

  1. Christopher Meloni vs. Elias Koteas
  2. William Fichtner vs. Peter Greene
  3. Nastasha Henstridge vs. Amber Valletta

Who wins? Nobody!

When I first saw LeeLee, I thought she must be Hunt’s daughter.

For me it’s Livingston and Jon Tenney. Tenney is the ex Mr. Teri Hatcher, btw.

And on the obscure side:

Nick Mancuso and David Groh.

Bryan Ferry (in this picture anyway) & Al Pacino

Max Headroom and Tony Snow.

Alfred E. Newman and George W. Bush.

How about Howard Stern and Joey Ramone?

I’ve noted an odd resemblance between Bea Arthur and Tony Curtis.

Brett Kelly, the kid from Bad Santa, looks like a junior version of Colm Meaney.

U2’s The Edge says that he looked just like Alfred E. Neuman as a child. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find an image online to confirm this, though I think the incriminating pic appears in the U2 by U2 book.

Alan Rickman as Snape in the HP movies looks a LOT like Trent Reznor before he butched his hair off.

As a wee young lad, I got Jan Smithers (Bailey Quarters on “WKRP in Cincinnati”) confused with Juice Newton.
