<snip>To the person who told me that the way to remember how to figure out if its grey or gray…thank you so much. This has really helped with a number of words. If I could remember your name, I’d have sent you a pm with offers of chocolate or a free kitten. (Currently we are fostering 8 and the mama. Looking at the kittens, it seems as though mama was a bit of a floozy. You would have a wide varity of coat length and colors to choose from.)
Have you checked out the KittenCam ? There’s a new litter today.

A while back, I bought a cat toy online that has a long flexible wand and a long string with feather lures, and I bought extra lures. The cats lurved it. I forgot where I got it, it was an impulse buy. Now the lures are worn out.
I can’t find the original ones, so I’ve been bringing home other wand toys. To a cat, all of those spoiled beasts are snubbing the new toys. They run up all happy when I pull it out, then totally snub them as only cats can do.
Stupid me and rotten spoiled cats.
Is this it? I’ve heard that cats go nutso for Da Bird.

That was me, and you’re welcome.
I actually NEED a kitten now. Two, actually (I always get them in pairs), but Massachusetts is way far away from Texas. Fortunately, there never seems to be a shortage of kittens/young cats needing homes.

Can’t you just buy feathers and ‘reload’ the current lures? I know I’ve seen bags of feathers in the craft supplies at JoAnn’s.

I swear, I’m invisible.
(Link is to refill feathers for Da Bird.)
Also, how *do *you figure out if it’s grey or gray?

I have trouble finding toys of that type that DON’T have feathers. Since we have a bird, I don’t think it’s a good idea to encourage Allie to chase and go after feathers.
A mericans use grA y, while the E nglish use grE y.

Snipped and then bumped this thread to say that you are NOT invisible and thank you so much!
I couldn’t remember the name of the toy, and it doesn’t have a brand on the handle.
That was JUST what I needed, I was able to work back from that to find the maker and ordered some new lures. Life will be good in a couple of days.
Rotten spoiled cats.

You haven’t blocked her yet? Even without all the submission, anti-PP stuff I’d have blocked anyone talking about babies that much. Hell, my best friend the drama queen had a very difficult pregnancy with twins (4 months of contractions, blood clot in the head, gestational diabetes, etc.) and she didn’t even post that much about babies or pregnancy.
Now that the kid has actually been born, the baby stuff on FB is worse than ever from her mom. Babies, mothers, breastfeeding, babies, and more babies. You’d think nobody else had ever given birth or given suck.
