I’ve started watching Katla on Netflix. It centers around the ongoing eruption of a volcano in Iceland (the aforementioned Katla). However, strange things are afoot and missing and/or dead people are showing up among the ashes. It is rather slow in development, but I wonder where this is all going.
I’ve also been keeping up with War of the Worlds on Epix. The story really has nothing to do with the Wells story except that aliens arrive and a virus is involved. It also stars the irresistible Daisy Edgar Jones from Hulu’s Normal People.
