We get some Armenian Genocide Denialists here every so often, dragged in by some of the columns, and I seem to recall at least one fluoridation nut. That’s about it for old-fashioned Usenet-style crazy around here. These Paul-bots just don’t seem to have the same flair as people who think the Universe is a plutonium atom, or that the Greys are in it with the Illuminati to kill off Your Favorite American Politician.

I am that Titan. I have honestly not had an infectious disease in my entire adult life. Well, I admit it’s possible that I’ve had a mild cold on one or two occassions but since that manifests itself purely as a slightly runny nose I don’t think it really counts.
And I drink heavily, eat tons of sugary high-fat food and until recently was a smoker that did little to no exercise. Oh, and I think alt-med is a bunch of quackery.
You should all get on my booze, fag and chocolate diet straight away. There have been many wide-ranging studies done that prove it’s effectiveness, though I don’t happen to have the cites handy. And listen to my annecdotal evidence! That should be enough to get it covered by your insurance surely?

Being new here, I’m just curious. If this person is regarded as a troll, isn’t there a rule about not feeding the trolls? Beyond that, how does anyone even have the patience? I’ve tried to read that thread several times and I always awake several hours later in a puddle of my own drool. Just curious.
You’d think, but here they just get grossly obese (15 page thread mmm delicious). Ignore list? Nobody’s ever heard of such a thing. It’s amusing to me more than anything else anymore to watch people try to debate/reason fairly on a level playing field with someone who is clearly (often from the very beginning) not the tiniest bit interested in such concepts. People seem to respond to such types in the hopes that pointing out the troll’s numerous factual and logical errors will eventually result in him (it) at long last going, “Oh! You have finally made me see the error of my ways! I completely repent all that I said before!”, replete with sackcloth and ashes and a ritualized self-flagellation thrown in for good measure. But it never happens.
Some of us are responding purely for our own amusement. Yes, I could use a hobby…
