Hi, such a basic question from me but There is a band if some aren’t aware called “Seven Mary three” (I have no idea how they write their name or why). The group sings has a older song that still plays on the radio here named “Cumbersome”. Now mind you I’ve never been the greatest at understanding what singers sing based on how dramatically they change the English language to get the audible effect their after, however for the most part this guy I can understand. At the half point of the song he sings, “There is a balance between two world, one with and arrow and a cross…” there’s more but I can’t make it out…I’m just trying to figure out what the part I can discern means, hahaha… sorry to bore anyone, it’s not my typical caliber stuff. Help would be appreciated though, thanks in advance.
Google, “cumbersome lyrics”.

You’re welcome.
Er, warning, that link is evidently going to have ALL KINDS of annoying Casino popups, including the one where it slides in from left field and sits there blinking, and the one where you click on the X to close it and it opens the window anyway, and the one where after you’ve hit the Back button, it’s going to bring up a window that says “Take me to the Casino!” hoping you’ll click on OK.
Idjits.
No,no,noo I was looking for the what the words me-an goose… I know, I know I wrote it all confusing, but I’m asking what he’s talking about with the “there is a balance between two worls, one with an arrow and a cross” stuff… clearer now? =7
Can’t help you with the lyric meaning, but the meaning of the band’s name is one of the officer’s call signs from the 1970s TV show “CHiPs”.
www.songmeanings.net has discussion about what the lyrics of various songs mean. It’s just from fans, nothing official, but I imagine that’s the best you’re gonna do.
Brilliant interpretation of hermetic and complex iconography here: how about something about the sexes, with the old symbols with the circle and cross/ arrow?
“…regardless of the balance life has become cumbersome”
Unlike the rest of the songs on the CD, I had to consult the lyrics to figure that line out, too. I didn’t even get the beginning of the line, since the first time I heard it, I thought he saw “narrow way to cross” which makes about as much sense…
I’m thinking like capybara… it’s what I get out of the lines anyway… sigh… all my deep question on this board and thi-s is the one people get stumped on… haha… Maybe this is Cecil material eh? lol
