Sex organs in mainstream movies.

I watched "Any Given Sunday starring Al “The Screamer” Pacino. I hate, hate Oliver Stone movies, but this film has some excellent football footage, so it was worth seeing. The owner of the team (Cameron Diaz) came into the locker room to look for the quarterback and asked a player for directions. The player they asked was naked with his penis hanging out. I mean hanging out and heading for his knees. That dude should do porno.

What other movies has shown sexual organs in a non sexual manner?

PS-Is Cameron Diaz hispanic, she doesn’t look it.

At the end of Fight Club, you see a penis “spliced” in, and in The Life of Brian, Brian opens his windows one morning, revealing himself fully. These two just off the top of my head.

Oh, how could I forget A Clockwork Orange?

Darn it, there just aren’t enough sex organs in mainstream movies! We want more!

28 Days Later shows the main dude totally naked lying on a hospital bed.

Wild Things…you get to see Kevin Bacon in all his horse-hung glory, wet and dripping as he comes out of the shower.
Boogie Nights…I am a star, a big fucking star, or whatever the hell Marky Mark says.

Well, I’m not sure if you could call the use in The Crying Game non-sexual, per se, but I think it was, since it was clearly intended to have an effect on the audience that had nothing whatever to do with tittilation.

I thought this was going to be a thread about bagpipes.

Marc

Well, in a way, it is

Mainstream movies that show female genitalia (not just pubic hair) are exceedingly rare. People are still debating just how much of Sharon Stone was visible in Basic Instinct.

On the other hand, scores of mainstream movies over the past 35 years have shown male frontal nudity. Just a few:

Borje Ahlstedt, I Am Curious (Yellow) (1967)
Malcolm McDowell, If . . . (1967), A Clockwork Orange (1971), Caligula (1979), Britannia Hospital (1982)
Alan Bates and Oliver Reed, Women in Love (1969)
Michael Margotta, Drive, He Said (1971)
Don Johnson and Gregory Harrison, The Harrad Experiment (1973)
Alain Delon, Shock Treatment (1973)
Gerard Depardieu, Going Places (1974), Vincent, Francois, Paul and Others (1974), The Last Woman (1976)
Peter Firth, Equus (1977)
Graham Chapman, Monty Python’s Life of Brian (1979)
Michael Jeter, Hair (1979)
Richard Gere, American Gigolo (1980),
Cyril O’Reilly, Porky’s (1982)
Christopher Atkins, The Blue Lagoon (1980)
Kevin Bacon, Wild Things (1998)
Tim Robbins, The Player (1992)
Harvey Keitel, Bad Leiutenant (1992)
Ewan McGregor, Trainspotting (1996), The Pillow Book (1997), Velvet Goldmine (1998)
Julian Sands, Simon Callow, and Rupert Graves, A Room With a View (1985)
Antonio Banderas, Baton Rouge (1988)
Eric Stoltz, Haunted Summer (1988), Naked in New York (1993)
Sam Rockwell, Law Dogs (1997)
Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, The Governess (1998), Tangled (2001)
Jason Priestly, Calendar Girl (1993)
Mark Rylance and dozens of extras in Prospero’s Books (1991)
David Duchovny, New Year’s Day (1989)
Sean Patrick Flannery, Powder (1995)
Liam Neeson, Nell (1994)
Bill Paxton, Boxing Helena (1993)
Cillian Murphy, 28 Days Later (2002)
Edward Norton and several extras, American History X (1998)

Diaz’s father is Cuban-American and her mother is Anglo-German. Also, as there are a lot of European-descended Cubans, a natural blonde like Diaz is not unusual.

Geoffrey Rush in Quills!

There was also some male frontal in Schindler’s List.

Walloon:

Ditto Jessica Rabbit in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?.

Um … so … what do you do with your bagpipes?!

I don’t think anybody has mentioned Bruce Willis in Color Of Night.

I recall as a child walking in on a movie my parents were watching where Robin Williams was standing completely naked in the grass, shouting something. What WAS that movie?

The Fisher King, IIRC

Rosemary’s Baby While Mia Farrow is doped up, and taken by the devil, she and the whole lot of the (aging AND sagging!) witch coven appear full frontal.

Well as far as female full-frontals, I can think of two other moments:

the Shining the unnamed ghost woman in room 217 (or whatever the room # was). True, she does attempt to seduce Jack, but as any one who has seen the movie knows – it aint too erotic!

Blue Velvet Isabella Rossellini shows up at Laura Dern’s front lawn buck naked, looking for help.

Both women show a lot more than Sharon Stone did.

Well, since female genitalia is mostly internal, “female full frontal” usually means just pubic hair and that’s it. You virtually never see the vulva in a mainstream movie.
