Of course, y’all have this felching thing going on around here, soooooo… we’ll have pity on all the hamsters. They can live.
So that explains why gerbils are extinct in Palestine!
Felching has nothing to do with hamsters. They’d never fit through the straw.

IM Humble O, that website seems to want to add some weight to our light burden and easy yoke.

My position on this – oops, bad word choice.
Start over. I don’t feel there is ever anything sinful about consentual adult sex. Period.
I have a question, though, for the catholics out there. I have always uderstood that the proscription against birth control, even within a marriage, was based upon the idea that all sex should have the possibility of resulting in pregnancy or else it is sinful. It seems to me that the same reasoning would prohibit oral and anal sex. Is that the church doctrine? (Interestingly, when I was day classing at an all girls catholic college, several of the girls were maintaining their virginity on religious grounds, but they were quite happy to give an d receive oral sex. As a 16 year old male, I thought this was a very fine attitude, but I wonder whether the church would have agreed?) I also note that the doctrine against sex with no possibility of procreation does not extend to men without motile sperm, women past childbearing age, etc. That always seemed hypocritical to me.
The best lack all conviction
The worst are full of passionate intensity.

Whether it’s in doctrine or not, it’s a well known fact that Catholic school girls give the best blow jobs, as they have the most practice.

GAUDERE – I’m laughing so hard I can barely type. I hope my coworkers don’t inquire, as I could never explain it.
Put me on the list of people who think that if the two people in question think it’s okay, then it’s okay. Of course, you’ll also have to put me on the list of people who are apparently going to fry in hell.

IIRC, you are correct about the Catholic Church’s opinion, and therefore they would look negatively on oral and anal sex as well. However, as regular readers here know, I’m not the best Catholic, so I may be wrong. I guess this is why I have a problem with Catholic doctorine - I can’t see where using birth control or doing something in the privacy of your own home, for a married couple, can be so “wrong.”
Just my $.02 as the resident Catholic from hell.
Well now we know why theres only gonna be 144,000 people ever that get to go to heaven!!

Lack of charisma can be fatal
Check out http://www.ewtn.com go to their search engine and put in inquires about sex. The tone of sex in marriage is akin to a necessary evil with so many rules I don’t know how Catholics can stand it.
Jehovah’s Witnesses frown on using the Pill because if it doesn’t suppress ovulation, it causes the unimplanted zygote to be expelled (aborted). They’re also against those perverted acts of oral and anal sex, but don’t believe contraception (except for the Pill) is wrong.
Many fundamentalist Christians in my area believe that all forms of birth control are sinful, even in the context of marriage. You’re supposed to “leave it up to God”.
I have all my credentials as a “nice” Irish Catholic girl who went to all Catholic schools through and including an all girls’ high school.
My mother, God be good to her, once felt it her duty to discuss sex with me. One day she asked me, highly embarassed, if I knew what the reference “69” was to. When I, equally embarassed (I think I was 15 or so at the time) nodded, she took a deep breath, and advised “Catholics don’t do that.”
Mom was wrong.
Hey Satan! Thanks for acknowledging that it’s “some” Christian folk who hold this opinion, not all of them!

Wasn’t there some Jewish lady that tried that a couple thousand years ago? Look where it got her – a gazillion goyem praying to her and no plaque at the Temple!
I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for you meddling kids!
Catholics are now allowed to use Natural Family Planning–a somewhat more sophisticated version of what used to be called the rhythm method of birth control. It’s okay because it doesn’t involve any “unnatural” barriers to conception–just planned abstinence. (It’s also okay because it doesn’t work very well–JMHO.)
I don’t think the Catholic Church has a problem with specific sexual practices within marriage. They just specify that you must be open to the possibility of having children. So, I suppose, if you and hubby ONLY had oral sex it would be wrong, but it’s okay if you mix it in with good old-fashioned intercourse.
Ok-I didn’t read the whole thread-but, I saw the question on the Lb board and rusehd right on over!!! LOL!
I knew this subject would be closed down-LB is considered a family board-anyway.
I also have heard this-that certain sexual acts even within the bonds of marriage are wrong. Well, i am a Christian and hubby is not-my opinion? Whatever two married consenting adults do behind closed doors is their business. Now, I assume you are not talking about bringing animals into the picture and such-right?
As long as you both agree to it-and neither of you is being degraded or abused-hey-why not?
BTW-i am Catholic-and was told by my nun that if I wanted to use birth control-that was between me and God-just thought I would throw that in there! Never heard a thing about oral or anal sex…
Oh-Navigator-
Good dodging over there at the LB site! Soem typo though-hey?
Sounds a bit like Jehova’s Witness doctrine.
I was gonna check out the site, but since the author doesn’t mention that AIDS can be contracted through good ole vaginal sex, I decided not to.
