A beautiful woman in a pretty sundress is as beautiful a thing as has ever existed.
I’ve never seen a lady in a pretty dress and wished she was wearing jeans.
I agree. I selected ‘Other’ because I’m a fan of the form, not the packaging.
It completely depends on the shape of the person and the type of jeans, skirt or dress. I must say that I find jeans with rhinestones on the pockets hideous regardless of who’s wearing them.
Mostly, it’s how you wear it. IMO.
I voted “Other”. I’ve always been partial to shorts. Yowza!
I will say that skirts and dresses on average will be more attractive (exhibit A: Pant suit vs skirt suit).
I think this is because it looks more feminine. Speaking as a heterosexual male, I think sexual dimorphism is a good thing and most “sexy” things try to enhance this.

Not all dresses are formal, though. The sundress hardly is–they’re fun and carefree. The shortest skirts are hardly formal, either.
And while I admit I’ve not seen any jeans that are truly formalwear, I’ve definitely seen jeans that are more formal than those dresses.
Depends on the woman and the dress/skirt or jeans. Also, there’s a lot more to sexy than clothes.
On my way to work, I saw a jogger in stretchy black yoga pants, and I can assure you that I didn’t wish that she’d been clad in jeans or a dress.
I checked several times, just to make sure.
A happy woman in a sundress is perfection all on its own.
Mostly jeans.
The look that really does it for me on a woman is sort of outdoorsy. Jeans and a flannel shirt are spectacular on almost any woman.
And those skinny jeans that everyone (women and men) wear these days? Nope. Just plain old Levis, 501s or 509s. Skinny jeans don’t flatter anyone.
There are exceptions, of course – some women just look right in a skirt or dress.
A pretty young thing in a sundress, is the biggest turn on to me.
I know this thread was targeted at the guys, but as a woman, I’m a little aghast at the love of sundresses here. I can’t think of anything that makes me feel frumpier.
Tell me you’d prefer her in a pair of jeans.
Not answerable. There’s a wide, wide range of kinds of dresses.
In any given context, a dress is usually going to be sexier than jeans. But there are a lot of contexts where jeans would be worn but not a dress, and many of those contexts will make a woman more attractive.
And BetsQ, don’t undersell the sundress. Simplicity has a certain virtue to it.
Tell me you’d prefer to see her in a dress.
Those aren’t jeans.
