Basically, **Architect Chore ** states that his funniest moment was seeing a girl be sexually assaulted as she was passed out and drunk in a reclining chair.
You know what? I don’t care how annoying she was. I don’t care if she acted high and mighty, holier than thou, or was just a bitch. What was perpetrated on her, with **YOU ** watching was sexual assault. It was without her consent, it was invasive of her personal space and sanctity, and it was WRONG. I don’t care if she ever knew if it happened, it was still sexual assault and to think you laughed at it makes me want to scream.
Another point, here. You list your location during this time as Lexington. I am also in Lexington. I can derive from your username you’re probably a recent graduate of the UK School of Design, in which I know several people. Your current location is listed as Morgantown, meaning you’re probably at WVU. What you did is not only morally wrong, it is also legally wrong. It would not be all that difficult for someone with an urge to create havoc (which might I note, isn’t me) to locate you and let your college know what happened. You’re online, but you’re not anonymous. Before you admit to any other crimes, think twice about giving so much information about yourself.
You’re right. I hadn’t read that thread but you’re right. There’s nothing funny about that post. “Teabagging” an unconscious victim is definitely a sexual assault. Not cool, not funny. Possibly criminal to witness without reporting.
Regardless of whether it technically qualifies as a sexual assault, I think it speaks volumes about the poster that the funniest thing he ever saw was the degrading of an unconsicous girl.
Don’t forget the guy getting pissed on (hilarious!) and the coach bad-mouthing his kids (too funny!) We should all have such evolved senses of humor.
IANAL, but according to the laws of Kentucky and West Virginia, teabagging someone who isn’t capable of consent (such as someone who is passed out) is sexual abuse.
It’s a crime, and it isn’t funny.
It’s incredibly scummy to do something like that to an unconsenting person, and it’s equally scummy to watch something like that happening and not only not do anything about it, but laugh about it. You did a terrible thing, Architect Chore, whether or not it was actually a crime. I hope this thread and this thread motivate you to think about what you did.
Oh, and just so there’s no misunderstanding, I think what **Architect Chore ** did was immature and shows a disgusting lack of character. What if they had decided to strip off her underwear and pose her naked and take photos of her? Would you have found that funny? How about if they had decided to have some fun with a Coke bottle?
Just because she’s a bitch doesn’t mean you can stand by while someone hurts her.
The chances of the perpetrator going to trial are between slim and none. That wasn’t my point, as much as the fact that the guy actively witnessed and then LAUGHED AT a violent crime. Nice!
Uh, not really. If you look at 510.010, “sexual contact” is defined as:
Teabagging is usually a method of humiliation, not a way of “gratifying sexual desire”. I see nothing in the post linked to by the OP that what transpired there was anything different.
That’s for a jury to decide, but I have a feeling it would not be perceived as a legitimate defense. All kinds of sexual assaults are committed with a goal of humiliation.
