Sexually Harassed by Attorney in Workplace with Audio

The heading pretty much describes what happened. I was sexually harassed, retaliated and asked to break the law by my boss (an attorney in good standing) and I have audio from 1-party consent state.

How easy will it be to find an attorney to help me? Okay to email me with suggestions.

I assume there are lots of witnesses to what happened. Document everything and contact your state bar association. There are lots of attorneys around… you need one that specializes in sexual harassment in the workplace.

Your OP is extremely vague.

What do you mean you were sexually harassed? Did he proposition you, tell dirty jokes in front of you, force you against a desk and grope you? There are degrees of harassment, some of which might be grounds for termination and some which might not be.

What do you mean by “I was sexually harassed, retaliated…”? Did YOU retaliate against him, or did he retaliate against you (by demoting you, threatening to fire you, show up at your house with a gun)?

Did you complain to HR about the sexual harassment when it occurred? Did you break the law that he asked you to break?

And, most importantly, what do you want? Your boss fired, your boss arrested, your old job back, punitive damages? That will determine what type of lawyer you should seek.

When a friend divorced her attorney-husband, she had to travel outside her locality to find a lawyer willing to accept her case.

Really? Because in my experience, the people lawyers hate more than anyone else on earth is other lawyers.

Her now-ex was very popular, and active politically. He is now a magistrate.

Quibbling over minor details. What do you want, actual facts?

Don’t: post your stuff on an internet forum. Just don’t.

Do: consult with an attorney in your local area who practices in this area who is not a friend of your boss.
