Inspired by a pit thread, I thought it would be fun to share your evil pranks!
I’ve never done this, but I imagine it would be terribly evil…
Put a marble in target’s gas tank.
Effect: Marble will roll to fuel line and stop fuel from getting to engine. Car stalls, cannot be restarted. Owner calls a tow truck.
Tow truck jacks up the front, marble rolls to the back of the tank. Arrives at shop and mechanic starts car up first try. Calls owner and says “hey buddy, works just fine for me.”
Owner picks up car, drives half a mile, marble rolls to fuel line, car stalls.
Wash, Rinse, Repeat…
Cruel but funny. I’d would need a serious reason to be annoyed (or maybe just drink enough) to do that.
I once pulled the greatest workplace prank of all time. But I think I’ve posted about it before, so I won’t repeat it.
My personal best:
I was working in a small shop within a larger factory. We assembled hydraulic components which were installed out in the larger shop. We would go back to the paint shop which was in another building and swipe cans of glass cleaner to clean our safety glasses with. People out in the shop in our building would slip into our room and swipe our can of glass cleaner to clean thier glasses. Now this glass cleaner was some industrial strength stuff that came in aerosol cans rather than the pump sprays for household use. To protect ours we sprayed the cans with primer paint so the label was not readable. This worked great for a long time. One of our guys got transfered out to the main shop and would come into our room everyday at about the same time to argue with us about sports and stuff. Every day he would take the camoflaged glass cleaner and do his glasses while he B.S.'ed. One day I took an aerosol can of chain lube, painted it up and put it where the glass cleaner was kept. Now this chain lube stuff was really sticky, smelly black grease which kind of resembled runny tar. It was made to stay on heavy equipment chain through all kinds of weather. Sure enough the guy comes in right on schedule and coats his glasses with the stuff. The best part was that he was spraying them while he was talking and sprayed an amazing amount without even realizing!
Teh intrawebs are giant and full of less than ideal ideas. You don’t need to be learning any new evil pranks here.
