Doing a little browsing, I came upon an old thread that I’d bookmarked solely for one post in it. It struck a chord then and every time I’ve read it since.

It would be hard for me to nail down even one or two “favorite SMDB posts” since I joined in February… sure wish I could have noted all the funny, smart-ass, first-responses by the ‘regulars’ to the “zombie” re-treads, though. Those have given me plenty of laughs.

I wish I could find a link. But years ago someone posted something about how Gandalf wasn’t so great of a wizard because he didn’t cast very many flashy spells. Someone wrote a long rebuttal to that, and I remember thinking that that was the best post I have ever read on these boards.
