I’ve had bbq from Sonny’s BBQ, a nap and am now defilthyfyin’ da cave. I’m on a break but gotta get back. Livin’ room, dinin’ room and study need defilthyfication still plus I need to vacuum and mop da cave.

It’s been a productive day. Dishes have been washed, kitchen has been scrubbed, laundry has been done, house has been vacuumed, and there’s a batch of chewy granola in the oven that’s smelling mighty fine.
Still need to finish writing my next article for the food website, process the photos of the bakery for said article, and maybe fit in a blog update about the Meyer lemon marmalade I made the other day. Oh, and make dinner and finish up some knitting.
Bedrest sounds kind of tempting right about now. 
It’s lovely for about four hours. And then you start thinking about the laundry that needs putting away, and that no one’s started dinner, and that you really need dark chocolate and there isn’t any in the house… and that’s when it stops being a fun fantasy of indolence.
Because no one around you will believe chocolate is medicinal.
We could call her StickyBizkit, or better yet, StickyBuns.

Just got home from TVLand a little bit ago. I worked some more on my jewelry (without the blowtorch:p). Actually, I was using the dremel this time. It’s coming along nicely. When I get motivated to return to the car for the bolt cutters, I’ll take a picture when it’s closer to finished.

I was up till 11-ish last night sewing the strips of my last afghan together. Then when I got up this morning, I started adding the edging around it. We loaded the car and headed to Mom’s and I finished the ruffled border just as we got to her exit off I-95. So I was able to give her 4 kidlet afghans.
We visited her for a while, then 11 of us went to lunch/dinner at a place near her house. Oh, was it gooooooooood! Daughter and I shared a portobello mushroom appetizer. I had grouper with vidalia onions and crab, and I finished with a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse between the layers. Man, I am stuffded still, but it was yummerrific. And it was nice to hang with various family members.
We just got home a little bit ago, and amazingly, no doggie pee or poo in the house. Yay.
I’m now reading the Sunday funnies before heading off to bed. I’m tired, and tomorrow I have the final project review for my project from hell. With luck, I’ll finally get my glasses after work tomorrow. **FCD **will be gone till late Thursday.
It needs to be spring. I have spoken.
It’s been Springish the past two days here. Temps hovering around 70 degrees Amurrkin! Nice! Of course it ain’t Spring yet so who knows what will happen. I do know the pine trees are getting that light green pollen tinge which means soon it will turn to yellow and then pine pollen everywhere. ICK!

Holy Cow! I was just looking for my dad’s Dremel so I wouldn’t have to wait to use the one at TVMan’s house and I found the Dremel and a 220 piece attachment set. I think that will be sufficient for awhile.
Now I have to wait until tomorrow to use it, though, because my mom’s already in bed for the night. Is it wrong to get so excited about a power tool? (Not that kind, gutterbrains)

Hi all! I’m back and have taken a well-deserved nap. Although I’m not actually sure why I was so tired, since I slept a lot last night.
