I would not, if I were you, take as a bench mark of my opinion of you a comment made in this thread and set it up high on some pedestal. You made a mistake, I think, in starting this thread. I said so and tried to incorporate some humor in my reply so you could, I hoped, sense that I, at least (for what very VERY little it’s worth) didn’t think the situation was going to cause a meltdown. And, for what (again very little) it’s worth, I don’t remember making two other disparaging comments toward you. Most people on this board leave a positive image in my mind. The vast majority of others either don’t register with me (because we post in different areas of the board, or whatever) or I see their name and think “Oh ick … I know what this is going to be about.” Quite honestly, seeing your name behind a post does nothing to me. I don’t think “Oh, for joy! Cisco hath posted! Verily shall I sacrifice my as-yet-unmade firstborn child, that Cecil Almighty may bless his post and keep it in good graces with the hamsters!”. Well, FWIW, I don’t much notice who is writing what either, I just thought maybe you did, because I know a lot of posters do.
Believe it or not, I’ve had a pretty neutral two and a half years here. I was never pitted until about 2 months ago and I think, for the most part, that turned out pretty well with the people that cared to keep a level head. I might even go so far as to say that a few people here might - gasp - like me. Sure I say stupid shit sometimes but I never really mean to piss anyone off. So when I do piss someone off, especially someone I like, I remember.
I did something really stupid once that pissed Triskadecamus off and I’ve felt horrible ever since. I’ll never forget that one as long as I post here.

Because this is what ‘class’ is. Some people have it and some people don’t. The people that don’t will never have it, even though they may delude themselves into thinking they do. Just like some people will never truly admit when they are wrong, they just hint around that they could be. You learn quickly on this board who is open to new thoughts, ideas, points of view, and then there are those that just don’t get it. That’s the ones that you just skim over and let them live in their own little world, content and happy to wallow in their ignorance.
