Well, she did it! My 8 1/2 year old daughter is a member of her rec. leagues 3rd/4th grade softball league champion Expos! Not only did they win the championship, but they went 10-0 for the season.
And the best part (for me) is that KVS daughter scored the winning run in the bottom of the 5th (last) inning. The Expos won 7-6.
The best part (for her) is that she did well, her game improved tremendously (especially her hitting), and she enjoyed herself. I can’t possibly describe her expression as she crossed home plate, and the biggest kid on the team picked her up in a huge bearhug.
