Sorry for your loss, AK84, my condolences to you and your family.
I am very sorry for your loss, and I completely identify. I lost my Grandma in 2008. I miss her terribly. She was a war widow, who lost her husband six weeks after my dad was born. She raised him as a single parent until my dad was in his teens, when she remarried a wonderful man. As her only child 's only daughter I was spoiled with girly pink frilly things, dolls, and tea sets. (I was a tom-boy). She was ridiculously proud of me, from getting an A on a spelling test to my university accomplishments.
When we interred her ashes I suddenly got very pissed off that someone DARED put my grandmother in a box, in the ground. She doesn’t like dirt, or dampness. There had better not be any draughts.
I hope your grandma and mine are snuggy warm and cozy.
