I guess I’m just a sucker for Bravo’s competition shows – Runway, Top Chef, Top Design – but I could not figure out how a show about competing hair dressers could be the least bit interesting. God knows I can’t stand Blow Out. The solution was to get the most bizarre crew of competitors, it seems. “Dr. Boogie”???

So, did anyone else watch? Anyone have an opinion?

It was kind of fun playing “spot the straight hairdresser” in the beginning, but I figured that the truly straight (read: insecure) ones would announce it pretty early on, and Ben didn’t disappoint!

And gee, do you think they’re trying to edit Tabitha as the season’s Bitchy One?

I seem to be sucked in by Bravo, too. Just biding my time 'til Season 4 of Project Runway.

Is Tabitha the one that lost the first time and won with the “Mohawk”?

I think the French guy that got eliminated in the “art” part of the contest got robbed. He didn’t get a chance to show what he can really do.

Just like on Top Chef, Top Design, etc. - the judges seem to come with a handful of snarky comments at the ready and look for someone to use them on.

I had fun watching though, and will tune in again. I bet my stylilst is watching and thinking he could kick everyone’s ass - and he’d probably be right.
