I’ve been waiting until I’ve noticed that there are no threads with this particular spelling mistake on the boards. (I really don’t like confrontation!) But, folks, the dog is not a “shepard”. No, no, no. The “herd” part comes from Herding - you know, what they were bred for? “ard” doesn’t cut it.
I believe that if you can’t even spell the darn dog’s breed correctly, you shouldn’t have one, and I won’t help or even join you in your threads.
Same goes for Shih Tzu, Chihuahua and the like.
Now, I know I can’t spell worth a darn, and I type even worse, but to me, spelling your dog’s breed wrong is like getting your spouse or kid’s name wrong every time. Knock it off!
(Feel free to add your own “typos that matter” rants!)

The one that makes me see red and pretty much stop reading a thread is breaks/brakes. I don’t really care if you confuse homonyms. GET IT RIGHT DAMN YOU. Because it’s really jarring.
Would you believe I’ve seen it spelled Cathowling Lepperd dog? (I used to work in a shelter - the dog being surrendered looked more like a beagle, to me!)
No whoosh, CalMeacham , I hadn’t seen that one for so long I’d forgotten it. Thanks for the reminder!
