Emily(my girlfriend, a.k.a. Stardust) is dancing in the super-duper charity event Dance Marathon this weekend. It’s a big deal on campus- it’s 30 hours of dancing to raise money, this year for an autistic children’s group. She started at 6 pm last night and (despite the 30-hour thing) will finish at 1 this morning. Still a couple of hours away, but I thought I’d get a congratulations thread started ahead of time. :wink:

You did great, hon. I don’t know how you did it, but you did. Tomorrow’s your day, be sure to recover in style. :wink:

I did DM at my college a couple years back.

Have lots of foot-massaging equipment ready for whenever she emerges from the deep slumber she’s probably already entered. Since she’s a girl, run her a bubble bath or something too. She will be grateful.

Out of 400 people (not including “moralers” and organizers) I was the ONLY smoker, so I at least got the occasional puff of fresh air…
