Yeah, I always enjoyed the Darwin Awards until the made a horrible exaggeration of a tragic accident that I knew the people the mostly fictional account was based on.
At my grandmother’s memorial service, my dad insisted on singing the hymns that my family carefully chose…in Korean…which he doesn’t speak…or sing…or understand. In the midst of all the stress of too many people staying in one house and who was ‘supposed’ to sit with the immediate family members and who should go to visitation…it was a nice change of pace. I am giggling just thinking about it. Shirley, if I ever post about someone dying, please pop in and make a joke…I’ll appreciate it.
