If I open Preferences in Safari 7.0.3 running on OS 10.9.2 Maverick, I get the following error:

I tried installing Adobe Flash Player Version Version 13.0.0.206, and I still get the error upon opening Preferences. I clicked Get info on Safari in the Applications folder, and 32-bit encryption is checked.

  1. How to I make this error window stop popping up?
  2. If 32-bit encryption is not checked for Safari, how many bits encryption does it use?

I don’t know from Apple, but…

  • Shockwave is not the same as Flash

  • “32 bit” is not referring to encryption, it’s referring to CPU architecture
