Shodan is a racist?

He just can’t read for content.

Yeah, so speaketh Miller. I haven’t been here as long as you guys, but as another one of those liberals, I must say I enjoy being painted with that large brush. Perhaps next time you have something in chartreuse.

Well, fuck you too.

Well, at least it’s a nice prickly brush. My poor old liberal back had been itching.

My understanding is that by not condemning, you are condoning. So, whether or not you personally made such a specious accusation is moot. You simply had to witness one without doing something about it.

So even if we didn’t read those threads, we’re screwed. I knew I wasn’t as cool as wring.

Few are.

Glad to know where you stand Scylla. But for the record, as if it matters, I don’t think Shodan is a racist either. Go figure.
I’ll go back to using your brush in ways not intended.

This just in: Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor: Racists.

The sexual tension in this thread is building as we speak.

You don’t see the difference between a white person making a joke about black people and a black person making a joke about black people?

ETA: I see no one but Scylla has answered my original question. While I disagree with you Scylla, I appreciate the fact that you took the time to answer.

Except they both had bits about paleface/whitey/cracker etc.

Is it only racist if it’s directed at a minority?

Or more likely, is it the intent that makes a statement racist rather than the bare content?

I think this may be a problem.

Anyway, everyone knows Shodan is equally prejudiced against *all *humans, not simply those of one colour. They pale before his magnificience.

More seriously, if it helps at all, i’ve not seen anything that’s made me consider you a racist (or any of those other things you mentioned).

So, Scylla, is that cross made out of ebony or ivory?

[sub]BTW, which was the “monster nigger” thread? I remember the grandfather one, but not the other.[/sub]

You make a good point.

Or a black person making a joke about white people?

No biggee.

One and the same.

The one you remember is the one Hentor is referring to. You’re confused and think there is two because Hentor’s lying mischaracterization is so egregious.

So much for the media being the mighty mouthpiece of the left, if this is your main source of liberal thought.

I’m a liberal and here’s a thought: the people here post their opinions and don’t intend to speak for huge swathes of the population. If it’s easier to mischaracterize a segment of the country than to keep that simple premise in mind, you must be a conservative. Oh, oops…

Why don’t you post it so we can see if I’m lying or mischaracterizing?
