Hi everyone, I am finally HERE at last. A first for me: got poofed at the other place and the person whose post I more or less answered, got poofed too. That has pretty much shown me that what we write over there is NOT taken as our opinion unless we preface every sentence with IMHO. Glad to be here where we can Be Ourselves and Say what’s on our minds.

Merchant Queen…did you get banned along with the poster you answered or was your post just deleted? I was a little confused by what " poofed" means?

Kittygirl, I did not get banned. My post was deleted along with the post I responded to by another poster. It had to do with LR having No Class and not knowing enough to not bite the hand which is still feeding her. Poofed, as far as I know, means your post was deleted. The other poster is also registered here, as she has answered my PM to her regarding the both of us being poofed. I will still read the posts over there and like the ones I like, but I have lost enthusiasm for that site. Whatever happened to FREE SPEECH, I wonder. Somehow I think that either the show hosts or the vendors have exerted some pressure on the Head Mod to control what is posted there, and THAT is My Humble Opinion, not a Fact.

I am happy to be welcome here too. I’m not one who mixes it up and I respect others opinions too. But I enjoy the freedom to comment. And I appreciate that anyone can respond in kind.

does anyone know how to shut down your account at the other place? I am not ok with anyone telling me what i can and cannot post on another site, that is clearly none of their business. Also the “new” rules … not feelin’ the strict parent attitude.
So glad to see new/old names here. I don’t know what you can do to shut down your account, but I know what you can do so they shut down your account.

Welp, I did it to myself again. I was busy in another room, so failed to rush to my remote and insta-CLICK Ms Southern Sassafras, Albaninny, as is my wont.
Sooo…while being shown the Coleman lanternzzzzzzzz yet AGAIN, Ms. Country Faux Bumpkin was so stymied by such amazing technology, that she had to say she had “no idea what ‘a lumen’ is, exactly.”
Because she only boasts a BS in Chemistry in her bio*, so could not possibly be at least somewhat conversant with any of that scienmentifical rigamarole. Aside from which, she’s likely presented that fvcking thing dozens of times, so couldn’t squeeze in a quick Google along the way. :rolleyes:
On the plus side, she did not beg this male OAP for kisses, slap him on the ass or otherwise molest him in anyway, this time. Not before I got a chance to run over and CLICK! anyway.
*Yes. I confess. I actually took my time to read her Q bio once. ONLY because someone else had shared that she had a degree in a science related discipline, and I could NOT believe it, based on her annoying as fvck sweet, dumb country gal “presentation style”. Again, I may need professional help. 
She doesn’t disappoint in the “did she just say that?” area. Today while presenting the scanner TSV, the rep commented on scanning all of the instruction manuals we get and she chimed in with, “Yes! Especially the ones that come with Legos.” Ummm, why do Legos need instructions? Don’t they just snap together and my starzzzzz and garters, why would you need to save them in the scanner???
