Welcome to new and returning posters. In process of moving so not watching as much. Just got a Skinn TSV I ordered from the weekend yesterday. It made it here in super fast time. Its a 7 piece+ cleanser and body cream. Have had good luck with most of his kits.

Someone I can’t remember who posted that they were afraid to post on the board for fear of being banned and their board warnings they post in the main thread, not on top, are vague. I responded back in agreement. Today both posts are gone

Did you see the earring w gold over resin? They were polished on the outside but inside you could see wrinkling where they couldn’t polish them due to the intertwining of the three gold strands and the defects in the resin. No way I’d spend the $99 they were asking for them
No Brooke, I didn’t see the funky earrings. I’m not in the market for any jewelry…I don’t wear 1/3 of the stuff I already have. I did flip over to check out what’s going on this morning…Pat looks very pretty. A little dressed up for 9 a.m. in my neighborhood, but certainly easier on the eyes than a Logo bag lady ensemble.

Wow! Only 6 posts in the past 6 hours? As the saying goes “Be careful what you wish for” Some posters wanted a watered down version of shopping channel forum, and that is exactly what you got.
Naturally they deleted it, and messaged me not to do it again.
I think that board will die a natural death. People that want to discuss all things “sweetness and light” can do so on the Q forum.
My experience of the snark I’ve read is that most comments (except for an occasional over-the-top one) are more funny than mean-spirited. Posters are fine with agreeing to disagree if someone posts an opposing viewpoint. I don’t agree with some of the comments I read, but almost all of them make me smile…and some make me outright laugh!
Yay! I found you guys! The other place started out ok, but then got too strict for me. I don’t post a whole lot, but read all the time. Will try to post more often. That being said, wtf happened to Bill Green’s face!!?! I really like him, but saw him for the first time in a while today and hardly recognized him. Maybe I’m just behind the times!
I can’t stand it when she continually whispers “yeah” and “yes” in the background when vender talking. Drives me to ‘click’.
Glad to have found you all! Thanks Honey. I don’t post alot but have been a lurker on TWOP and sometime poster on previously TV(under “jewels”). The q has been so boring as of late. I have been watching shopHQ more often. I just bought the Skinn TTV, all good stuff that I’ll use. Trying to stay away from watching Isomers. Spending too much on skin care lately.
I’m of her certain age, or even older, and underwear designed by civil engineers was more like what our mothers wore. I never thought someone without a very strange fetish would get nostalgic for it.

Checked the Q again around 11:30 p.m. in time to see Mary Beth once again. Her hair looks cute, but the dress she’s wearing reminds me of something Samantha wore on Bewitched when she flew back in time to old Salem.

I missed that! They poofed your post before I got there. And they even messaged you to slap your hand again? Damn, what control freaks. Even the QVC webbie, as much as he/she deletes threads, still lets people post criticisms of the channel and the forums. There was (maybe still is?) a poster who posted a regular weekly snark thread in the Q Talk section about the products to be presented the next week, complete with sarcastic pictures and gifs. I haven’t looked for those threads in a long time since I seldom visit the Q boards any more, but they were hilarious and I enjoyed reading them.
Hi to everybody! I love it here. I hate having to walk on eggshells every time I make a post over there.
I watched a little of the Q Gold Rush, and checked out most of the jewelry on the website. They should have called it the Silicone Rush, because so many pieces were silicone-filled gold. To be fair, they did have a good many actual real gold pieces, but it looked like at least half of the event’s products were silicone.
I heard the hosts keep saying over and over that the Sleeping Beauty turquoise mine was closed. (Which we hear on every channel, despite the fact that SB turquoise still seems to be pretty widely available; a lot of miners must have been hoarding it.) Now I wish they would hurry up and empty out the Sleeping Silicone Mine.
I don’t see the point of the other board. I thought it was an alternative to QVC board where we could speak and snark freely. Obviously not. There excuse is wanting to avoid flame wars from other sites. Well then if you want a politically correct sanitized board then what’s the point? It’s just QVC blog version 2. Redundant. Thank goodness for this board where we have freedom of speech. Imo that board will die and the mods will have no one to blame but themselves. Good grief if they got a flame war just delete the posts. But that takes work and they don’t want to bother with it. So enjoy your censored board approved by North Korea lol
Here’s my latest adventure over at the other place. I noticed someone had posted that Leah said on air that LR would be judging (or appearing, I forget and am too lazy to look it up) on Project Runway. There were maybe 3 posts that replied to that by talking about what Lisa was wearing on PR. So to see what would happen I reported them to the mods. I didn’t complain, but asked, since I thought we weren’t spozed to be discussing what former hosts were doing (and refraining from saying the guidelines were as clear as mud). Got a nice reply from a mod that thanked me for reporting and said:
I’m too stupid, too sleepy, and just too damn uninterested to try to parse that policy. Or non-policy.
Puts me in mind of something I read on FB the other day: when you’re about to be drawn into someone else’s drama, step back and say “Not my circus. Not my monkeys.”
WOW!! I remember seeing the original and then being a bit confused when it disappeared and then chalking it up to a fuzzy dream because I’ve been sick all week!

May I join this happy group? The other site was less snark and more product review, and I was losing interest. Seems way more fun over here!
