I stopped by to pay my CPL bill, having forgotten that it was BOTH the first day of the month and the last day of the week. The line to the service desk ran the entire length of the front of the store. I had something to read, so I figured I’d try it for a few minutes, see if any progress was made, before giving up.
Everyone working the service desk that shift deserve a raise. They PLOWED through that line. It was amazing. I started watching the folks in line instead of reading. They got their stuff done quickly, and left happy.
When I got to the front of the line, the transaction went like a well-rehearsed dance. Bill, money, keypad, done. And it’s just amazing that the folks working there were so upbeat faced with this relentless swarm who looked like they were having a really bad day.
Angie R. helped me at the desk, I didn’t get the other one’s name, but she was working just as hard. I’m out of room to enter more text. Give 'em all a bonus or a free day off

Everyone always complains. The above is what really makes a store manager take note.
