Another nay…that color (and most reds) will fade in a couple of weeks and be mostly strawberry blonde, especially this time of year if you’re outdoors much.
I vote going blonder…goes with those gorgeous blue eyes!
So we have a bunch of votes for darker and a bunch of votes for blonde. The thing about blonde is that I’ve done it before and I know I love how I look, for the first couple of weeks or so before the roots start showing. Probably not that big of a problem this time of year, but still. It’s also so done.
So go auburn (and share a pic, duh) and if you don’t like it, bleach it out again.
I’m not too experienced at this sort of thing. Can you dye your hair darker and then bleach it platinum on top? I’m not sure exactly what would go wrong, but it feels like something should.
IANAH (hairdresser) but I believe you’d need to lift out the color and then put in the blond. Don’t hold me to that though, I gave up dying my har and have let the silver shine forth.
